Systems Administrator: ICT Management Services

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide administrative and technical support regarding the ICT Government Motor Transport (GMT) Systems and related ICT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer ICT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  2. Coordinate user system and desktop support in liaison with CeI and other service providers.
  3. Develop and maintain documentation for training and server purposes.
  4. Facilitate assurance of Government Motor Transport (GMT) IT system security and governance in liaison with SITA & other service providers.
  5. Provide GMT desktop support services and ICT infrastructure management support.

Requirements:

An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an ICT and systems support working environment.

A valid Code B driving license is recommended. People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but who have reasonable access to transport may also apply.

Competencies: Knowledge of Information Systems Technology and Software; Configuration Management processes; Data Management; Network Hardware, Protocols, and Standards; Public Management and Administration; Planning and organisational skills; Communication (written and verbal) skills; Proven computer literacy.

Remuneration: R308,154 - R362,994 per annum (Salary level 7)
