About the Role

You will be responsible for increasing our market share overseas by overseeing all aspects of our expansion in the South African market, managing every aspect of our newly expanding operation in-country, negotiating with vendors and service providers needed for the expansion of Truecaller's services, collaborating with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services, conducting extensive research regarding the market, synthesizing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development, networking effectively with local clients and developing strong professional relationships, adapting the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity, mentoring direct reports, especially regarding our values and vision, and contributing to the overall global success of Truecaller.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage every aspect of our newly expanding operation in-country.
  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers needed for the expansion of Truecaller's services.
  • Collaborate with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services.
  • Conduct extensive research regarding the market and learn everything possible.
  • Collaborate with leadership to strategize how best to roll out our services.
  • Be a student of the culture and have an evolving, acute awareness of customs and manners.
  • Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development.
  • Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships.
  • Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
  • Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity.
  • Mentor direct reports, especially regarding our values and vision.
  • Contribute to the overall global success of Truecaller.
About You

We are looking for someone with 10 years or more experience in management in an international business setting, a Master's degree, MBA, or other relevant fields, background in enterprise sales and enterprise sales management, experience navigating complex partner ecosystems, savvy with financial metrics and management, project and program management skills to achieve KPIs and OKRs, strong communication skills, experience living overseas for an extended period, exceptionally well-organized and driven by success, ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, outstanding negotiating skills, analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills, track record of data-driven strategic development, decisive and committed, and a natural leader who inspires and motivates those around them.
