Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Print Production Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs and timelines for printing Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze client requirements and project specifications to determine cost-effective print production methods for POSM materials.
  2. Estimate costs and timelines for printing POSM materials, considering factors such as material type, quantity, size, color, and finishing options.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to review client requests and provide accurate print estimates in a timely manner.
  4. Conduct thorough material and vendor research to identify the best suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  5. Prepare and present detailed print estimates to clients, including breakdowns of costs, production processes, timelines, and terms and conditions.
  6. Liaise with production managers, graphic designers, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow, timely delivery, and adherence to project specifications.
  7. Track and monitor print production costs, materials, and timelines to maintain accurate records and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Matric or equivalent; a degree in print production, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a print estimator, preferably in the POSM industry.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
