About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong background in quality management and a passion for ensuring excellence in all aspects of production.
The ideal candidate will have a B.Eng Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech Degree Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, as well as at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall quality processes for Torque converters and valve bodies sections, working closely with the engineering team to identify and implement solutions to defects and improve product quality.
You will also be required to conduct regular inspections and tests, analyze quality performance metrics, and maintain accurate records of rework and claims.
A key aspect of this role is to ensure that production standards are met and exceeded, by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules.
You will collaborate with production teams to develop and maintain standard operating procedures, and participate in root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective actions.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to prepare and present regular quality reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
