About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires a high level of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute financial plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of accounts, including bank, payroll, and general ledger.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights on business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in financial decision-making by preparing variance analyses.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and liaise with tax authorities as required.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting and tax laws to maintain regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CA(SA) / ACCA / CIMA / CPA (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
