We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Director to join our team at South Cape Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be fully computer literate, proficient in MS Office Suite, and fluent in English and Afrikaans. Additionally, they will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively with staff and clients, and demonstrate a passion for creative and innovative cuisine.

As a key member of our team, you will be expected to:

  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and chefs
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
  • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
