About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DC Operations Analyst to join our team at takealot, a leading South African online retailer. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain operational reports to support key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive business improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and updates to stakeholders.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, information systems, supply chain/logistics, computer science) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a data-driven role, preferably in a fast-paced, product-led organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and optimize digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL, dashboarding tools (e.g., Google Data/Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau), and Python.
  • Experience with automation and data visualization tools is beneficial.
