Your key responsibilities will include monitoring compliance, investigating non-compliance, and processing applications for service rendered by the division. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of quality management systems and participate in stakeholder engagement activities.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, specializing in legal, health, safety, environmental monitoring instrumentation or related scientific qualifications. You must also be willing to travel and undergo Legal Metrology training for a period of 18 – 24 months.

A strong understanding of the NRCS Act, Legal Metrology Act and Regulations, as well as analytical thinking and report writing skills, are necessary for success in this position.
