Job Overview
As a Retail Operations Manager at Clicks Group Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring service excellence at the point of sale by efficiently directing and controlling all operational activities in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To efficiently direct and control all operational activities at the point of sale.
  • To ensure the effective and safe management of stock and cash, minimizing shrinkage and maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping and administration.
  • To train, motivate, and direct shop assistants and cashiers to fulfill their duties while delivering service excellence at all times.
  • To ensure sufficient staffing of shop assistants and cashiers in line with work schedules, company policies, and labor legislation.
  • To timeously and efficiently resolve customer queries in accordance with Company policies.
  • To drive the promotion of the Clicks clubcard to achieve participation targets.

Requirements
  • Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles.
  • Knowledge of stock, cost, risk, and compliance management procedures.
  • Knowledge of customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and IR practices.
  • Knowledge of competency-based interviewing.
