Job Summary

As an IT Business Analyst at Electrum Payments, you will work closely with our customers to understand their requirements, document specifications, and collaborate with our development teams to deliver complex technical projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that our solutions meet our customers' needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirement Analysis
    • Identify critical project stakeholders and manage their expectations.
    • Facilitate meetings to gather requirements and perform research to ensure accurate documentation.
    • Convert business needs into technical specifications and create comprehensive documentation.
  • Technical Analysis
    • Document requirements and bridge technical information with business needs.
    • Clarify requirements to development teams and discuss technical specifications with customers.
  • Quality
    • Ensure quality by verifying that technical solutions meet customer requirements.
    • Create testing documentation and tooling for development teams.
    • Support development teams during testing and verify test results.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
    • Suggest and implement process improvements.
    • Coach and mentor team members.
What You Will Do
  • Be fully involved in the technical aspects of our projects.
  • Understand 3rd party APIs and map between different stakeholders' APIs.
  • Critically evaluate test evidence and create test servers.
  • Contribute to technical discussions with developers regarding software architecture.
  • Be an SME for Electrum Payments products in your team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience or 1-2 years in an IT Business Analyst role.
  • Experience in analytical thinking and writing.
  • Experience working with customers and communicating in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • A Business Analyst certification.
  • Experience in the payments space.
  • Experience working in agile development teams.
