We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Foreperson to join our team at Status Staffing. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for planning and executing welding operations, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate welding operations to meet production schedules and quality standards
  • Issue and organize job/production processes in accordance with production schedules
  • Conduct quality checks and refer to technical drawings as needed
  • Sign off all paperwork for ISO requirements and liaise with Quality Manager and Production Manager
  • Control time and attendance and performance of the team, taking disciplinary action when required
  • Program robotic spot-welding machines and attend production meetings
  • Lead and control all resources available, including manpower, machinery, material, and manufacturing/method
  • Motivate and coach employees, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and experience of Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium
  • Knowledge of grinding and polishing
  • High attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Proven planning, organizing, leading, and controlling skills
  • Good people skills, including coaching and mentoring
  • Business English skills (written and oral) and the ability to provide feedback accurately and timeously
  • Valid driver's license and computer literacy
  • Good attendance record and solid references
  • Quality, health, and safety knowledge and awareness
