The successful candidate will report directly to the Treasury Manager and be responsible for internal liaison with accounts, treasury team, and business stakeholders, as well as external liaison with banks, auditors, and third-party pay-out and pay-in partners.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Cash and liquidity management to ensure sufficient liquidity for pay-out partners and own verticals.
  • Assisting with short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasts to identify funding gaps.
  • Managing surplus cash flows to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
  • Understanding financial and operational risks.
  • Bank relationship management with various banking and pay-out partners.
  • Supporting the treasury manager with implementing and monitoring financial risk management strategies.
  • Administration of all treasury accounts with external providers/partners.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • B.Com Accounting qualification.
  • Saica Articles (desirable).
  • 3 years' treasury experience.
  • Working in a multinational group (desirable).

You will also need excellent analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and strong time management skills.
