  • Work closely with production to understand technical requirements and provide procurement solutions.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with industry standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare reports on procurement performance, cost analysis, and supplier evaluations.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in abattoir equipment and QSR supply chain management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Category Manager in the QSR or food manufacturing industry, specifically within chicken abattoirs.
  • Strong understanding of technical procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for supplier audits, inspections, and negotiations.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, equipment maintenance, and operational requirements in chicken processing.
  • Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
