About the Position:

  1. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks, including infection control, preparation of patients, and maintenance of equipment and patient records.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires collaboration with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Registration with the HPCSA is mandatory, demonstrating a high level of competence and expertise in dental assisting.
  4. Experience in aesthetic/cosmetic dentistry would be advantageous, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement infection control measures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist with patient records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the practice through administrative support and teamwork.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 08h00 - 17h00, with potential overtime as needed.

Timeline: Appointment will take place as soon as possible after thorough selection and vetting process.
