Duties & Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Manage customer relationships at the business level, ensuring effective communication and building strong partnerships.
- Electronic Territory Management System: Utilize an electronic system to manage territories, ensure timely updates, and maintain accurate records.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry developments to effectively communicate benefits and solutions to customers.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve regional sales targets and grow market share.
- Annual Regional Sales Budget: Achieve annual regional sales budget through effective sales performance and territory management.
- Tailor-made Customer Strategies: Develop tailored customer strategies to meet individual needs, driving mutual benefit and growth.
- Customer Focused Functions: Organize customer-focused events to foster relationships and build trust.
- Participating in Customer Expos: Participate in customer expos to showcase products and services, expanding market reach.
- Company Branded Functions: Activate company-branded functions, such as CPD events, in conjunction with the key account management team.
- Daily Customer Recon and Reporting: Conduct daily customer recon and provide regular reporting to ensure effective territory management.
- Call Rate Coverage and Frequency: Ensure adequate call rate coverage and frequency to maintain good territory management practices.
- Market and Product Knowledge: Maintain acceptable levels of market-related and product knowledge to ensure effective individual performance and customer training.
- Territory Business Plan: Develop and implement a territory business plan to accomplish objectives in line with the sales and marketing strategy.
- Calling on Doctors: Visit doctors to discuss products and services, increasing market penetration.
- Quality Complaints and Enquiries: Forward all received product quality complaints, adverse events, and medical enquiries to the relevant person in quality assurance/pharmacovigilance/medical affairs.
Core Competencies:
- Effective Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders.
- Time Management: Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit advanced interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- MS Office Suite: Proficient in MS Office suite to effectively utilize tools and software.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Qualifications: Hold a related Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Possess a minimum of 24 months of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with excellent selling skills and established relationships in the territory and with key stakeholders.
