Job Description

This is a full-time position for a Hydrogeologist at our offices based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field work related to water resource management, groundwater assessment, aquifer modelling (numerical), and reporting in the context of open-pit, underground mining, and environmental monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate water resource projects from initiation to completion
  • Analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making
  • Develop and implement effective groundwater models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Professional registration with SACNASP & GSSA or similar international bodies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Sufficient proficiency in English
Salary and Benefits
