Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Dining Room Attendant to join our team at Riseup Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a welcoming and clean environment, and working closely with our kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and Greeting: Greet customers warmly and make them feel at ease, ensuring a positive first impression of our restaurant.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Ensure tables, glassware, and cutlery are clean and presented to a high standard before presenting them to customers.
  • Order Taking and Accuracy: Accurately record orders and upsell items on the menu to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Order Processing and Delivery: Ensure the correct order is processed through to the kitchen and bar areas, and deliver orders to the correct tables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Table Maintenance and Cleanliness: Ensure tables are clean of any dishes or food once customers have paid and left, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the family restaurant or casual dining environment.
  • Communication and Accuracy: Fluency in English and the ability to accurately record orders taken from clients.
  • Presentation and Hygiene: The ability to look presentable and practice good hygiene practices.
  • Technical Skills: The ability to operate a POS system to record and cash up orders.
