Job Title: Financial Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Management Professional to join our team at HR Genie in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports for management, ensuring timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and analysis, identifying areas for cost savings and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and general ledgers, detecting and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards, staying up-to-date with changes and updates to ensure our company's financial records are accurate and compliant.

Requirements:

  • A recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) and a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role, with a strong understanding of accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions:

  • This is an office-based role with occasional overtime required.
  • May involve some travel for meetings or training, but standard office hours are expected.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of R550,000 per annum, based on the national average for this position and taking into account the local cost of living.
