About You
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in data centre operations, server management, or network engineering is required.
  • You should have strong knowledge of data centre hardware, including servers, storage, and networking equipment, as well as virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is also an asset.
Responsibilities
  1. Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain data centre equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Network & Server Administration: Manage network equipment and troubleshoot connectivity issues, while ensuring seamless operation of servers.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor server and network performance, conducting regular analysis and optimizations.
  4. Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols and practices to safeguard data centre assets and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  5. Troubleshooting & Incident Response: Respond to and resolve incidents and outages, minimizing downtime.
  6. Capacity Planning & Scalability: Regularly assess and forecast growth to ensure capacity needs are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or VMware VCP are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
