Fleet Operations Coordinator

The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet, with a focus on maintenance coordination, operations support, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule regular maintenance and repairs for all fleet assets, ensuring timely completion and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and services performed, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and legal regulations, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also:
- Monitor and track vehicle usage and performance metrics, providing insights to inform operational decisions.
- Coordinate vehicle assignments and availability with departments, ensuring optimal utilization and reducing waste.
- Assist in the acquisition and disposal of fleet vehicles, leveraging expertise to drive value and efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive records of each asset, including registration, insurance, maintenance history, fuel expenses, toll fees, and mileage, to ensure accuracy and reliability.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- A Matric qualification and 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics or administration, preferably with a background in fleet management.
- Strong administrative skills, with proficiency in data entry, record-keeping, and software management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary range of R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
