Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a range of vehicles and machinery, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on trucks, bakkies, and heavy machinery, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles and machinery meet safety and operational standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used, facilitating effective inventory management and cost control.
  • Work efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure the reliability of equipment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical repairs, with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Experience working on operating machinery, trucks, and bakkies is essential, with a proven track record of successful repairs and maintenance.
  • Semi-Qualified or Fully Qualified mechanics will be highly beneficial, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license is required, with a clean driving record and a willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
