Operations Administrator Blackheath

Namibia Logistics (PTY) Ltd seeks an experienced individual to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving all consignment documentation, capturing required information on the LMS system, and verifying data accuracy.
Duties & Responsibilities- Capture documents on the LMS system with precision and accuracy.
- Identify missing data and errors, and follow up with Account Executives or Branches as necessary.
- Verify parcel mass and dimensions booked through collections.
- Compare source documents with captured information and make necessary corrections.
- Assist with batching documents for borders.
- Scan and email documents to internal and external customers.
- Communicate with the team regarding outstanding documents.
- Ensure overall waybill accuracy.
- No parcels left unverified.
- Capture administrative data as received.
- Assist with resolving queries from Branches and Account Executives.
- Contribute to the Induction Department's success in terms of quality and productivity.
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Transport Management related qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the transport industry, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of LMS, MS Word/Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build good working relationships.
- Possess well-developed communication skills.
- Methodical and organized with analytical and enquiring mind.
- Accurate work under pressure.
