Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various financial and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage logbooks for the company fleet/vehicles.
  • Conduct monthly VAT201 and EMP201 reconciliations and submissions.
  • Assist in year-end closure processes and prepare annual audit files.
  • Handle the creditor's function, including the monthly credit run.
  • Capture purchase orders accurately.
  • Execute all other financial and administrative duties related to the position.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Financial Accounting (BAcc/Com/BCompt) or a similar qualification.
  • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
