Job Purpose: As a Maintenance Coordinator at HR Genie, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating maintenance initiatives, ensuring Infrastructure maintenance tasks are carried out successfully within agreed timeframes, cost, and scope.

Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

Coordinate Maintenance Initiatives

  • Coordinate maintenance requirements, ensuring Infrastructure maintenance tasks are carried out successfully within agreed timeframes, cost, quality parameters, and scope.

Maintenance Coordination and Monitoring

  • Coordinate and track all on-site maintenance and related activities to ensure optimal levels of plant and equipment availability.
  • Ensure all equipment and safety standards are maintained.
  • Manage ad hoc maintenance requests, ensuring issues are addressed within agreed SLAs.
  • Effectively manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide expert advice and help efficiently resolve maintenance queries.

General Operational Contributions

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Standards.
  • Actively participate in operational planning and reporting processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimizing relevant operational practices, processes, and tools.
  • Adhere to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards, and controls.
  • Control cost and take necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance.

Adherence to Quality, Food Safety, Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards

  • Adhere to Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Food, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards.
  • Enforce all food safety and health regulations, policies, and requirements at all times to guarantee a secure work environment.
  • Maintain exceptional personal hygiene as per the organization's code of conduct.
  • Raise awareness about potential physical product contamination and implement control measures to prevent it.
  • Take reasonable precautions to prevent health and safety hazards. Follow the prescribed incident reporting procedure in case of accidents.
  • Stay updated with relevant business information, policies, processes, and procedures. Enforce compliance with legislative and statutory requirements, as well as GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Attend and enforce the implementation of learnings from training sessions related to Quality, Food Safety, and Health and Safety.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and orderliness within the work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 (Essential)
  • Up to 4 years of experience (Operational Execution)
  • MS Excel; MS Word; SAP; Email; MS PowerPoint
