Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Staff Solutions in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our Quality Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our Automotive Industry clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting and testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests using measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and CMMs to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Analyzing results: Analyze inspection results, identify discrepancies, and inform relevant personnel to take corrective action.
  • Safety and quality assurance: Support the implementation of safety and quality assurance processes, including routine testing requirements and product audits.

Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum essential tertiary qualification in Quality or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Training and experience: Core Tools (e.g., SPC) and CSR training would be advantageous. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Machine Shop and 2 years' experience in a Wheel manufacturing plant is preferred.
  • Skills and qualifications: Thorough knowledge of Machine Shop and IATF processes, quality standards, problem-solving methodologies, and ability to read technical drawings and customer specifications.
