Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and raising all billing schedules
- Generating utility schedules and following up on outstanding schedules
- Processing internal invoicing accurately
- Ensuring debit orders are loaded before month-end
- Sending reminders to defaulting customers
- Issuing letters of demand to customers with overdue accounts
- Raising interest and debt collection fees on all overdue accounts
- Responding to internal and external billing queries
- Issuing accurate levy clearance figures
- Maintaining the levy clearance exceptions schedule
- Following up on levy clearance payments and issuing certificates
- Monitoring outstanding property transfers at month-end
- Loading ad hoc payments accurately
- Ensuring recurring payments are loaded before month-end
- Maintaining and updating the recurring payment schedule
- Processing monthly municipal payments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completed tertiary qualification in Accounting (advantageous)
- Experience in the property sector would be an advantage
- Solid knowledge of financial processes, systems, and related laws
