We're seeking a dynamic professional to lead our warehouse operations and drive business growth. As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Parts Department, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • About the Role:
  • Manage a high-performing team, implementing performance appraisals, and taking subsequent actions to drive growth.
  • Ensure required working hours are adhered to and maintain adequate trained staff levels.
Cultivating Customer Loyalty

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll focus on:

  • Frequently following up on customer orders, particularly back orders and VORs, to provide timely feedback.
  • Analyzing transactions to identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Responding promptly to customer queries and addressing their concerns efficiently.
Driving Financial Success

You'll play a crucial role in maintaining agreed profit margins and return on investment by:

  • Effectively managing budgetary expenses within established limits.
  • Monitoring overhead expenses and ensuring they remain within set parameters.
  • Streamlining credit control and price discrepancies management.
  • Maintaining up-to-date stock levels and ensuring inventory remains in saleable condition.
Growing Market Share

As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll actively work towards achieving an acceptable market share through:

  • Implementing strategies to increase market share in line with our annual budget.
Warehouse Efficiency

You'll be responsible for monitoring costs associated with VORs, purchasing bulk quantities as necessary, and adhering to Volvo's stocking prescription. Additionally, you'll ensure sufficient packing and maintain the integrity of our stock.

Compliance and Safety Protocols

It's essential to adhere to ISO 9001 standards and safety protocols throughout your area of responsibility. You'll also ensure that all processes are followed and safety regulations are upheld.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Matric/N3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Warehouse management or at least three years' experience in warehousing.
