Job Overview

The ALPLA Group is seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to join our team. As the primary point of contact for employee enquiries, this role will play a critical part in ensuring that all recruitment and HR-related administrative duties are completed efficiently and accurately.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding process, providing information and assistance throughout the employment lifecycle, and coordinating recruitment and psychometric administration. Additionally, they will establish and implement best operating practices for HR processes, compile monthly reports for Operations, and act as the first point of contact for any human resources issues.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate recruitment and psychometric administration, plan and conduct new employee orientation.
  • HR Administration: Establish and implement best operating practices for HR processes, compile HR monthly reports for Operations.
  • HR Support: Act as the first point of contact for any human resources issues, support with HR projects where required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Matric certificate and National Diploma or equivalent in Human Resource Management/Development.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in an HR officer role.
  • Excellent understanding of Labour Relations Legislation, HR Practices, Policies, and Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of HR Best Practices throughout the HR Value Chain as well as HR Technology.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in organizing and prioritizing a busy workload.
  • High degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
