Workshop Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to lead our team of technicians, sales reps, and admin staff in Edenvale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily activities of technicians, sales reps, and admin staff
  • Ensure timely and efficient repair of power tools, generators, inverters, compressors, and other equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving complaints and queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Conduct diagnostic fault finding and provide solutions to technical issues
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to management
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and email
  • Syspro experience is advantageous but not necessary
