Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective demand planning strategies to meet customer needs while minimizing stockouts and overstock situations. They will work closely with the buying team to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions about inventory levels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage promotional stock plans to enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with buyers to align strategies with business goals.
  • Run accurate forecasting models using historical sales data.
  • Review stock daily to prevent waste and reduce supplier returns.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to manage overstocks, understocks, and ensure demand is forecasted accurately. They will also be responsible for monitoring supplier delivery frequencies and order quantities.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and mathematical analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of merchandise management systems/BI is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in FMCG Retail is essential.
