Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Leading the production department in Ladysmith.
  2. Developing and implementing strategies to improve production efficiency and quality.
  3. Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
  4. Managing production costs and inventory.
  5. Ensuring production is completed before deadlines.
  6. Procuring and monitoring the efficiency of production equipment.
  7. Updating the Production Manager on the status of projects.
  8. Liaising and coordinating production with other departments.
  9. Assisting in keeping Production in line with the Health and Safety as well as Food and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Production Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Fast-Moving Consumable Goods (Cold storage) manufacturing-related industry.
  • Computer literacy and a valid driver's license are essential.
  • Local residency is required.
