Job Overview:
Cape Town-based Private Hospital seeks experienced Unit Manager for Maternity Unit. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to lead a team and drive clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in nursing, SANC registration, and at least 3 years of experience in maternity units. Strong leadership and communication skills are required, as well as proficiency in using computers. Responsibilities include:
- Implementing nursing care plans and coordinating treatment plans within MDT programs to achieve clinical outcomes.
- Serving as a clinical expert to achieve patient outcomes.
- Ensuring staff competence and creating an environment conducive to learning and providing feedback to stakeholders.
- Promoting customer satisfaction, addressing complaints, conducting quality care rounds and audits to monitor care levels and reporting accordingly.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in nursing with postgraduate diploma in midwifery.
- Current SANC registration.
- At least 3 years of experience in maternity units.
- Proven leadership and people management experience within a maternity unit.
- Computer proficiency.
