Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees, managing payroll administration, and overseeing payroll filing. They will also coach and mentor Payroll Clerks to promote knowledge transfer and efficient payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities- Administration of payroll information;
- Verification of all payroll and leave input;
- Compilation and verification of variances and other relevant payroll controls before payroll finalization;
- Guidance to Payroll Clerks and business units on new payroll forms and processes implementation;
- Validation of dismissals/resignations and verification of final pay-outs;
- Resolution of second-line enquiries within SLA;
- Reviewing and signing off interim payments;
- Overseeing payroll filing and printing/distribution of payslips;
- Planning and implementing payroll processes for a successful payroll run daily;
- Reconciliation of payroll data with third-party vendors;
- Clearing reconciling items via payroll within 30 days;
- Distribution of comprehensive month-end reports to business units;
- Responsibility for month-end processes, preparation, and reconciliation;
- Recommendation or implementation of new processes around the payroll system to meet business unit requirements;
- JDE experience highly advantageous.
