Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to join our team at Clicks Group Limited. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading and directing the store operations team to ensure efficient operation and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and direct the store operations team in order to meet sales, profit and compliance targets.
  • To drive and maximise sales by tracking daily targets, weekly and monthly sales plans and taking appropriate action as required.
  • To efficiently manage and control all operational activities of the store, including expenses, stock management, shrinkage and general housekeeping.
  • To successfully manage in-store execution of all visual merchandising, ensuring that in-store presentation and promotional standards are maintained.
  • To select, lead, manage and develop employees to build capacity and capability to meet current and future business needs.
  • To schedule staff adequately in line with the Group's labour policy and relevant labour model.
  • To attend to administrative responsibilities in an efficient manner, including time and attendance and employee records.
Requirements
  • Essential: Grade 12 (Maths 50% and English 50%)
  • Essential: B. Degree or Diploma in retail / finance management, pharmacy or related.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a store management role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment or successful completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme.
  • Financial management experience.
