Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manage the company's Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety Management systems.
  • Collaborate with onsite management teams to address unsafe behaviours and practices.
  • Oversee housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitation in the facility, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Implement and monitor the Personnel Hygiene Programme.
  • Verify the quality, safety, and compliance of incoming ingredients to specification.
  • Document all procedures and ensure staff are fully trained and competent.
  • Investigate incidents, conducting robust investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) where necessary.
  • Maintain record keeping, documentation, and reports.
  • Provide regular feedback to on-site and regional management and clients.

  • B-Tech / National Diploma Environmental Health
  • National Diploma Food Technology or Food Science with supplementary HACCP and ISO 22000 implementation experience.
