Job Description

Tower Group is seeking a highly skilled Brand Manager to drive the strategies and brand equity as per global directives in order to achieve sales and profitability goals for the Brands.

Responsibilities:Brand Management:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the brand through the supply chain, both tangible and intangible. They will present quarterly review and progress on strategy to Country Manager and Financial Director, and execute and support marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing division aimed at communicating our brand message.

Additionally, they will manage and supervise the operations of systems in terms of stock, sales projections, and gross profit of the business unit, oversee OTB management, age stock management as per annual KPI's, and ensure that collections are updated regularly online through stockists.

Market Share and Retail Analytics:

The Brand Manager will work together with the Marketing team to perform regular market research studies to gather important brand data and competitive analysis to be included in quarterly reviews. They will also conduct monthly analytics of brand performance in retail, develop custom brand management plans for each product, and submit updated summaries on brand exposure to management each month.

Furthermore, they will seek out new opportunities that fit with the brand and maximize all opportunities for growth, identify how the brand is currently positioned in the market, and play a key part in buying, sourcing, and manufacturing of the brands' products, ensuring all aspects of the supply chain align with the brand.

Brand Equity:

The Brand Manager will assist in the design of retail packaging, create in-store marketing displays, and create a brand plan and brand strategy, ensuring all aspects of the product or company's marketing and activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand.

They will also create an enduring brand message that results in increased sales, brand loyalty, and improving market share, championing the brand internally, making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goals.

Communication:

The Brand Manager will maintain contact with vendors and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved, source suppliers and products that fit, and develop and sustain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.

They will also communicate our brand personality internally, align the company around foundational ideas, and lead and participate in business negotiations with main distributors, end users, retailers, and customers.

Brand Strategy:

The Brand Manager will define strategies for sales/profitability and positioning of the brand, direct and control activities of sales, distribution, marketing, and customer service to maximize the business unit profitability and achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly targets.

Leadership:

The Brand Manager will provide leadership and direction to the Commercial team, ensure clear focus and coordination of all activities, and clearly communicated performance standards and objectives.

They will monitor and provide regular feedback on individual performance of immediate subordinates, take appropriate action where necessary, conduct performance reviews bi-annually, appoint qualified direct reports, and act as a coach and mentor to direct reports.

Compliance:

The Brand Manager will ensure compliance with internal policies, rules, and procedures, legislation, and relevant legal prescriptions and constraints.

They will also ensure financial and administrative compliance, ensure compliance with BSO Policies, procedures, and code-of-ethics requirements, and ensure that all safety measures/procedures are in place and any deviation from policy is dealt with decisively and promptly.
