Technical Sales Representative Job Description

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our client in Johannesburg. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our products and services to clients in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Ensure regular contact and communication through business reviews to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
  • Pricing and Route-to-Market Strategies: Manage customer pricing and route-to-market strategies to optimize sales performance.
  • Business Development: Assist customers in developing products to actively promote the company brand.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers at various levels and with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Matric and National Diploma in Food Technology or Sales & Marketing.
  • Experience: Solid 3-4 years of technical background in food/ingredients and experience in sales, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Driver's Licence: Valid Code 8 Driver's licence.
  • Sales-Focused: Sales-focused with strong customer relationship-building skills and attention to detail.
  • Professionalism: High ethical values, professionalism, and maturity.
  • Team Player: Willingness to work outside normal working hours and be a team player with a strong, confident, and assertive personality.
