Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality client reports, proposing and finalizing audit opinions, and managing audit assignments. This includes monitoring and evaluating performance, conducting full audit file reviews, performing tax return reviews, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate and timely client reports.
  • Propose and finalize audit opinions based on thorough analysis and evaluation.
  • Manage audit assignments, including budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure alignment with budgeted targets.
  • Perform tax return reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a Degree in Accounting or a SAICA-accredited degree. A CA(SA) or AGA(SA) qualification is advantageous, and completed SAICA articles are essential. Supervisory and management experience is also desirable. Additionally, proficiency in IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, ISA, and taxation is necessary, as well as experience with CaseWare.
