Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review individual and group consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Review cash flow vs. cash flow targets on a monthly basis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Expense Management: Manage and control expenses per budget, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and accrued in the correct period.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and review discrepancies, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Payroll and Logistics: Coordinate and manage Botswana payroll, as well as manage and coordinate promotional items.
Requirements
  • Education: BCom Honours or equivalent.
  • Qualifications: CIMA qualification.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of experience in financial accounting.
  • Skills: Advanced accounting expertise, operational understanding, creditors knowledge, reconciliations, budgeting skills, F8 knowledge, ratio analysis, free cash flow, consolidated results, analysis and review ability, processing and synthesis ability, understanding of cash flow process, stock purchasing process understanding, audit process knowledge and understanding, experience in the production of Management Accounts.
