Strategic Risk Oversight Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Risk Oversight Manager to join our team at Objective Personnel.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per yearThis role offers a highly competitive salary range based on experience, location, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an annual audit plan based on a risk-based assessment of the organization's activities;
- Manage and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across various business units;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and risk management frameworks;
- Identify and implement business process improvement opportunities;
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory standards;
- Provide advisory support to business units regarding internal controls and best practices;
- Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and present audit findings to senior management and audit and risk committees, highlighting key risks and recommendations;
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and provide follow-up assessments;
- Leadership
- Lead and mentor the divisional finance teams across the organization regarding financial and operational controls, ensuring high performance;
- Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement;
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the key liaison with the group's independent internal auditors;
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to promote a collaborative approach to risk management and internal controls
- Perform other related duties as may be required from time to time.
- Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role;
- Proven knowledge of financial and operational controls, preferably within the manufacturing sector;
- Proven ability to improve and optimize business processes;
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA(SA), CIMA, or IIA are strongly preferred.
