Job Description

The Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for developing accurate, compliant, and competitive tenders through advanced estimating practices.

Salary

Ranging from R650 000 to R950 000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract components and quantities from drawings to provide preliminary costing budgets for projects.
  • Work closely with engineers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely receipt of information for submission.
  • Prepare financial summaries, tender schedules, proposal detail sheets, and pricing schedules.
  • Maintain a good network of suppliers and sub-contractors for best pricing and services.
  • Demonstrate delivery in high-pressure situations as a detailed-orientated and organized team player.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the construction sector, electrical discipline.
  • Proven track record in estimating electrical projects and tender documentation.
