About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst - Retail Optimisation to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

Your main responsibilities will include analysing business requirements, developing solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders, and leading Design Thinking sessions.

Your Key Tasks
  • Analyse business requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Consult with key business stakeholders and members of relevant product teams to properly define the business challenge, possible solutions, and risks associated with each.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand their needs and elicit requirements.
  • Help define project scope by documenting user stories and translating these into business requirements.
  • Lead Design Thinking sessions through Problem Definition, Requirements gathering, Ideation, and Prototype Designs.
  • Review and re-engineer processes within the value stream to meet the required service levels – aligned with Business Architecture guidelines and methodologies.
  • Drive best practice, continuous improvement, and innovation at process level.
  • Define and articulate acceptance criteria for proposed solutions.
  • Identify and validate internal and external data sets generated from a diverse range of business and operational processes.
  • Support the provision of a platform for retailer engagement.
  • Provide the provision of customer care system to manage customer queries.
  • Support retail operations with tools for reporting, tracking, and documentation repositories to allow efficient management of the retail environment.
  • Develop close working relationships with stakeholders, effectively listening and understanding their needs.
  • Clarify and explain system functionality and any 'out-of-scope' features.
  • Support and train users through onboarding and upskilling journey of using portfolio related systems and tools.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IS, or related technology discipline.
  • Appropriate Specialist IT Certification is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years' business analysis and business optimisation experience preferably within a retail environment.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in product management within an agile environment.
  • Experience in retail is essential, understanding in-store processes from receiving to processing sales at the till points.
  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
  • Experience in process mapping, process re-engineering, and GAP analysis.
  • Experience working with and coordinating multi-business stakeholders and business owners in a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated BI and analytics knowledge is essential.
  • Capabilities in PowerBI and/or SAP Analytics Cloud.
