Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Actuary to provide actuarial services, focusing on employee benefits, risk assessments, and financial analysis to help our client effectively manage costs and liabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement actuarial models to assess financial risks and liabilities for employees transitioning from a provident fund to the GEPF.
  • Calculate future costs and liabilities for an additional medical aid offering to retirees.
  • Develop project actuarial metrics and models for operational projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Use modelling techniques to aid decision-making for business development and risk assessment.
Requirements
  • Must be a qualified actuary (FASSA-Fellowship member) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated extensive skills, knowledge, and technical abilities in employee benefits capital and reserving.
  • Ability to work effectively during peak hours, minimizing downtime.
