Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee the effective and efficient management of our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Lead the procurement team to source high-quality products at optimal prices, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Inventory and Warehouse Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensure efficient warehouse operations, and implement inventory management strategies to reduce waste and optimize stock turnover.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Develop and manage distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers, collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transport routes, and reduce costs.
  • Demand Forecasting and Planning: Oversee the demand planning team, collaborate with sales teams to forecast demand, and adjust supply chain strategies in response to sales trends and customer needs.
  • Cost and Budget Management: Control and manage supply chain-related costs, prepare and manage the supply chain budget, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Sustainability and Risk Management: Develop and implement sustainable sourcing and supply chain practices, identify and mitigate supply chain risks, and prepare contingency plans to manage supply disruptions.
  • Technology and Process Optimization: Use data analytics to track and improve supply chain performance, identify areas for efficiency improvements, and lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in management.
  • Excellent planning and project management skills, with experience in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and administrative skills, with a strong focus on people and conflict management.
  • Leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and cost savings.

Working Conditions:

This role is an office-bound position with occasional travel requirements. Physical demands include moving between plants and customer sites, and walking on site facilities.

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the Demand and Production Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.
