The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quantitative Risk Analyst to join our team at Rainmaker Acquisitions CC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk analysis and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Risk Management in maintaining and executing the Risk Management Framework across the organisation, ensuring effectiveness of risk management processes.
  • Support the risk management team in the development and implementation of risk management reports and tools, including emerging risks.
  • Contribute to the combined assurance process, focusing on operational, fraud, and compliance risk identification and quantification across all company processes.
  • Collaborate with the risk management team to track experience against key risk metrics, including solvency and liquidity, and assist with producing quarterly risk reports and ORSA updates.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Honours-level qualification in statistics, mathematics, data science, actuarial science, risk management, finance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services industry is preferable.
