Key Responsibilities:

The IT Risk Management Professional will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice on IT risk management;

  • Supporting the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values by ensuring delivered IT systems, process, services and solutions are aligned;
  • Identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management;
  • Ensuring all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe;
  • Sharing knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction;
  • Obtaining buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced IT risk management processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations;
  • Seeking opportunities to improve IT business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank;

The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of IT risk management experience, with a passion for IT risk management and a eagerness to learn. They should also have experience in IT risk assessment and management, as well as a good understanding of IT risk frameworks such as COBIT, ISO27001/2, etc.
