Content Strategist

Our client, a global tech firm, is seeking a Content Creator to join their team remotely on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates, and a great working environment.
As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for helping users navigate our journeys and find the information they need in the simplest, smartest way possible. You will work in agile teams, influencing and owning the user journey for a product, service, or offer. Your role will involve creating, updating, and reviewing content around the user journey, using evidence, data, and research to inform decisions and drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities- Advocate for a user-centered approach to all content creation.
- Map customer purchase journeys to identify pain points and user needs.
- Create and curate engaging content that resonates with customers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure content is evidence-based, user-centered, and continually optimized.
- Participate in user research and contribute to multidisciplinary, agile teams to enhance the overall user experience.
- Use discovery methods to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- Ensure content compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Represent the design team and serve as a primary point of contact for product owners and product team members on user-centered design.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of content strategy and user-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with digital platforms, tools, and content management systems.
- Ability to create clear, engaging, and concise content that aligns with user needs and business objectives.
- Experience creating and maintaining content guidelines, tone of voice, and documentation.
- Knowledge of information architecture and content hierarchies.
- Experience with content audits, gap analyses, and optimization.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive content design.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization best practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, working closely with designers, developers, and product teams.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and ability to work within sprint cycles.
- Ability to conduct research and incorporate user feedback into content decisions.
- 8 years of experience as a Content Creator.
- Proven track record of user-centered content strategy and creation.
- Expert understanding of user journey mapping and identifying risks, preferably in an ecommerce/transactional/purchasing context.
- Experience working with agile, multidisciplinary teams, including user researchers, product owners, designers, etc.
- Comprehensive commercial portfolio of elegant content creation/copywriting.
- Strong understanding of content publishing on various CMS platforms, particularly AEM.
