Job Description

**Job Title:** IT Applications Manager - Digital Transformation Expert

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager to join our team at Centrax Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Manufacturing and Legacy Applications team, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and overseeing legacy application modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Central Liaison:** Serve as the central point of contact between Operations and IT for Manufacturing and Legacy Applications in the region, ensuring seamless support and project management.
  • **Relationship Building:** Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between departments.
  • **Team Management:** Manage the Manufacturing and Legacy Applications team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality results.
  • **Service Level Agreements:** Work with Operations to agree on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and support models, ensuring that the quality of service meets the agreed standards.
  • **Contract Management:** Manage contracts for software licenses and maintenance support for regional applications, ensuring that the company gets the best value for its investment.
  • **Quality Assurance:** Ensure that the quality of service meets the agreed standards, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing improvements as needed.
  • **Project Management:** Deliver agreed enhancements following the IT Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Change Management process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • **Legacy System Modernization:** Review and provide a roadmap for legacy applications modernization and rationalization, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • **Solution Design:** Design and present new solutions to the Architecture Review Board (ARB) for approval, ensuring that solutions meet the business requirements and are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
  • **Risk Management:** Anticipate and mitigate risks, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing changes as needed.
  • **Reporting:** Provide progress and status reports at regular intervals to stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed of the team's progress and any issues that may arise.
  • **Issue Management:** Manage issues and requests utilizing the IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing systems, ensuring that tickets are progressing and resolved in accordance with the SLAs.
  • **Meeting Organization:** Organize and lead meetings related to applications, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • **Staffing:** Determine the staffing requirements and skills needed to support the regional applications, working with the company's Operations Information Technology (TOIS) Center of Excellence (CoE) to prioritize enhancement requests.
Requirements:
  • **Experience:** 5+ years of IT Applications or Operation Technology (OT) Applications management experience.
  • **Technical Skills:** Technically proficient with Process Control Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and historian systems, including Siemens Suite, Emerson DeltaV, Syncade, OSI PI, ThingWorx, Khronos Insight, Aveva Production Management, Bulk Matrix, Honeywell Connected Plant, and RT Duet.
  • **Understanding:** Understanding of the ISA95 Purdue model.
  • **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication skills, strong relationship builder, and ability to translate Business Requirements (BR) to Functional Requirements (FR).
  • **Organization Skills:** Strong organization and coordination skills, demonstrated experience in developing project strategies and managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • **Language:** Proficient in English, excellent verbal, and written skills.

**Additional Requirements:** Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) S4 or ECC6, Cloud-based architectures, Microsoft Azure, advanced data models, Enterprise Architecture, and systems design.
