Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Administrator to join our team at Platinum Placements. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of credit and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal Control: Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain accurate records.
  • General Ledger: Submit information for relevant accruals and maintain accurate ledger balances.
  • Audits and Year-End Processes: Prepare ledger balances, initial trial balances, and supporting documentation for audits and year-end processes.
  • Banking: Administer banking systems, reports, and load new creditors and bank transfers.
  • Cash Management: Prepare cash forecasts and maintain accurate cash records.
  • Cashbook: Check prepared cheque requisitions for payment and update cash book records.
  • Forex: Revalue foreign creditors and bank accounts and conduct foreign payment administration.
  • Statutory Returns: Process statutory payments on e-Filing.
  • Creditors: Prepare credit applications, reconcile creditors balance, and maintain creditors master files.
  • General Administration: Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Ad Hoc: Assist the creditors supervisor as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Finance Management or equivalent.
  • 2 years in a similar role in the Automotive Industry advantageous.
