An exceptional opportunity exists for a seasoned Fleet Controller to lead the logistics division of Qetello Holdings in Johannesburg. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to oversee the overall management and functioning of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Planning and Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing all collections and deliveries, ensuring timely performance and accurate delivery manifests.
- Staff Management: Our ideal candidate will manage drivers, ensuring they are punctual, presentable, and dressed in company uniform, while also handling disciplinary actions and staff misconduct.
- Fleet Maintenance: Daily inspections of vehicles under control will be conducted to identify any damage or defects, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Administration and Reporting: The Fleet Controller will monitor and manage COF and PRDP documents daily, complete accurate diesel consumption and service reports, and maintain email correspondence.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 4 equivalent to standard 10/grade 12, Diploma or degree in logistics or similar field, and 3-4 years of transport experience.
- Skills: Knowledge of the transport industry, strong communication skills, technical competence, creative thinking, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure.
